Koh Poda Beach

Introduction

Koh Poda is not a well-known beach in Thailand, but it’s one of the best beaches in the country. It has crystal clear waters and white sands, making it perfect for snorkelling. It also doesn’t have an entrance fee or lifeguards on duty so you’ll need to watch out for yourself while at the beach. However, if you’re looking to escape civilization for some time then Koh Poda is worth your trip!

Koh Poda Beach is a hidden gem and one of the best beaches in Thailand. It’s not easy to find, but it’s worth your time to go there.

Koh Poda Beach is located on Koh Phangan (aka full moon party island), which lies off the coast of Koh Samui in Southern Thailand. The beach itself is about 20 minutes by car from Haad Rin where most people stay when visiting Koh Phangan. The water here is crystal clear and has some great snorkeling spots nearby as well!

Entrance fee

Koh Poda Beach has no entrance fee or lifeguards, so you will be responsible for your own safety.

You must be a good swimmer and have a life jacket. You should also have a first aid kit, sunscreen, insect repellent and water/food. In addition to these items you may want to bring along a flashlight in case you need it during the night.

How to get there

You’ll need a boat to get here, but once you’re there you’ll be able to relax and enjoy some snorkelling.

Koh Poda is a small beach which can be reached by boat from Koh Rang. The paddle takes about 30 minutes and costs $40 per person for round trip transportation, or you can rent a kayak or paddle board at the pier.

There are no lifeguards on this beach, so make sure to be careful when swimming in these clear waters! Make sure you bring your own food and drinks as there aren’t any shops around either!
