Tham Phra Nang Lagoon

Tham Phra Nang Lagoon

The lagoon itself is filled with crystal clear water which reflects the surrounding landscape of limestone cliffs and caves forming an amazing view to behold. It is also home to some interesting creatures including fish, turtles and many other species found only in this area of Thailand. There are many places where you can go swimming so if you’re looking for something more adventurous than just relaxing on a beach then this may be right up your alley!

The lagoon itself measures approximately 80m in width and 100m in length, with a depth of up to 6m (20 feet). Visitors can swim or just enjoy a relaxing lounge on the beach while gazing out over the crystal blue waters.

The Tham Phra Nang Cave is located about 7km from Koh Yao Noi island and about 15 minutes by boat from Hat Yao Noi Pier. It is one of two caves which make up this site – the other being Tham Phra Nang Tia (Cave 2) which lies underneath this one but only has access through it’s entrance at low tide.

There are several ways to get there; some people take boats from Hat Yao Noi pier while others choose to walk along muddy paths through mangroves until they reach their destination

In addition, there are some amazing caves nearby where you can do some easy exploring yourself. The caves are filled with stalactites and stalagmites and make an interesting stop.

They’re also a good place to get away from the crowds at Tham Phra Nang Cave, which is great because it can be hard to move around in there sometimes!
