Tub Kaek Beach

Introduction

Tub Kaek Beach is a small, quiet beach located about 12 kilometers from the town of Hua Hin. The waters are crystal clear and there are no waves. There are sun beds, umbrellas and chairs for rent at the beach. Things to do include swimming, snorkeling, sunbathing or simply relaxing in this beautiful location.

Location

Tub Kaek Beach is a popular beach located in Koh Samui, Thailand. It’s one of the most famous beaches on the island, but it’s also quite far from any major town or city. To get there by public transportation, first take a bus or taxi from Chaweng Beach (which has plenty of shops and restaurants) all the way up north to the end of its main road at Bophut Beach. Then walk south along this road until you reach Tub Kaek Beach on your left hand side–it should take about 20 minutes to reach from Bophut Beach if there aren’t too many people around!

Other nearby beaches include: Ao Choa (about 10 minutes away), Hat Yao Noi (about 30 minutes away), Hat Yao Yai (about 40 minutes away), and Nathon Pier/Hin Wong Bay (about 45 minutes away). There are also several ferries that run between Ko Tao Island and Ko Phangan Island every day; these ferries can be taken directly from Paklok Pier near Chaweng Village Center at 11am daily except Sundays when they depart at 12pm instead!

Getting there

Location Tub Kaek Beach

Tub Kaek Beach is located on the west coast of Koh Samui. To get there, you can take a taxi or hire a car from your hotel and drive yourself. Alternatively, you can book an island tour with one of many operators who offer day trips to Tub Kaek Beach and other attractions on the island.

If you’re driving yourself, it will take about 30 minutes to drive from central Surat Thani city (where most visitors stay) to Tub Kaek Beach. From Chaweng Beach in north-east Koh Samui or Lamai Beach in south-west Koh Samui – both popular tourist destinations – it will take about 45 minutes by car to reach Tub Kaek Beach. Once at the entrance gate for Tub Kaek National Park (which costs 200 baht per person), there are plenty of parking spaces available but not much shade so be sure not forget sunscreen!

Once inside the national park area itself (you’ll know because there will be signs) keep walking straight ahead until you see signs pointing towards “Tub Kaek” which means “tiger cave”. From here follow these directions carefully: Turn right at this intersection; continue straight ahead for another 200m where there is another small path leading off into bushes/forest; ignore all other paths/intersections as they lead nowhere interesting; follow this path as far down hill towards sea until reaching beachfront area where locals sell drinks etc…

The easiest way to get there is by taxi or car rental; if you don’t have one already arranged for arrival at the airport in Bangkok, we highly recommend doing so before getting into town as there are limited options available once there!
